Diego Sánchez-AncocheaThe Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) within the Faculty of Economics had the honor to welcome Dr. Diego Sánchez-Ancochea from University of Oxford, who gave a seminar about “Economic Policy and Social Systems in Latin America” (5RE456)” from 24 October to November 2 (2012).

Dr. Diego Sánchez-Ancochea’s  research interests concentrate on state-society relations, income distribution and the impacts of outsourcing, with especial attention to small Latin American countries like Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. He wrote several excellent books as The political economy of the public budget in the Americas and The political economy of hemispheric integration.
