Ignacio F. Ibáñez Ferrándiz

Ignacio F. Ibáñez Ferrándiz is, since 2007, the Manager of the Legal and Counter-Terrorism Financing Program of the Inter-American Committee against Terrorism, Secretariat for Multidimensional Security of the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington DC. He is also an analyst at the Strategic Studies Group of Spain (GEES) since 2009, and a Member of Mont Pelerin Society.

Mr. Ibánez holds a Law Degree and a Master’s Degree in International Relations, and has studied at prestigious universities as Universidad Complutense de Madrid, San Pablo CEU, Sorbonne University and Cambridge University.His research interests concentrate on problems with terrorism, bioterrorism, drug trafficking and crime, politics and international cooperation. In his works, he mainly pays attention on the countries of Latin America. He wrote a large number of excellent books, for example: Bioterrorism: The Latent Threat.  He has also written a lot of other literal contributions.
