Genaro Sánchez Barajas

PhD. Genaro Sánchez Barajas, from National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), focuses his research on economic development, fiscal policy, regional development, small company’s improvement and empirical econometrics, paying special attention to Latin America. His most recent books and publications are: Evaluation of the Mexican fiscal federalism; Macroeconomic environment and perspectives of the Mexican micro and small firms; o The fiscal policy as an instrument of the economic policy.

CLAS had the honor to welcome Dr. Genaro Sánchez Barajas and his seminar “The Mexican experience related to the Promotion of the Regional Development” (5RE481) between 12th and 21st November of 2012. During this course students obtained information about the recent history of Mexico and its regional and political, both in a theoretical and practical way.
